More Photos

Here are a few more photos from the weekend. The first two are carved spindle whorls and the third is a woven blanket.

Not much new to report. It's still hot though not as bad as it has been. I'm actually working a little on the DFS KAL today too. It will take me forever to finish this thing I"m sure.

Well I guess I'll go watch my front lawn slowly die. It's big, too big and a pain in the butkiss to mow. For awhile there I had a lovely field of gold...dandilions. It was pretty in it's own way, though apparently some people didn't appreciate it since my mailman left me a note in my mailbox asking if yellow was my favorite color, or did I need help with the yardwork. So of course I had to mow the damn thing the very next day. I guess that appeased him since I am still getting my mail and there have been no more notes.

Happy trails folks!
