Arent I a lucky girl?
This is a fabulous dinner the BF made for us when I had to work on Saturday, It's filet mignon with red wine cream suace, saute'd finger potatoes and peas with mushrooms. Plus fried shrimp! There was also strawberries and cream for desset. Needless to say Bubba was thrilled too..He sure has taken a liking to the BF..he gets fascinated with his 5 o'clock shadow and loves to try to feed his ear.

This is a scarf I have been working on. In the photo it looks more pinky and purply, in reality it's more reddish and orange. It's a "V" design where I will reverse the pattern for the other side so when your wearing it you will see the "right" side on both sides. I think I may have enough yarn left to make a matching hat and/or some wrist warmers.

In other news the BF and I off the Las Vegas next week. We both took the whole week off to get ready and recover when we get back. This time we are planing on visitng the Siegfrieds and Roys Secret Garden to see Dophins and Tigers, as well as the usual stuff. This will be our 5th trip I think. Getting to be regulars here! The funny thing is niether of us are real big gamblers. But there's so much else to do there we still have a good time. There's a great aquarium at Mandalwy Bay, a few very good art museums, shopping, people watching and my personal favorite, the "Birdman of Vegas" Apparently there's a large parrot sanctuary in Nevada and they rescue parrots and train them for shows. The Bf pointed out you can even "donate" a parrot that you could no longer care for. I told him to perish the thought! There's also the Flamingo Casino where they have a great outdoor aviary of Flamingo's ( of course ) and lot's of other birds including penquins.

We're going to be staying at the Monte Carlo, it's in a good location and a very nice hotel without being too pricey. Now that I have a blog I will be taking pictures!
