This is some very nice stuff I got from Ebay, it's more or that merino colonial mix which is very interesting to spin. It's a little easier to spin in a heavier weight. The rock circle is from a big chuck of soapstone the BF had. He managed to fashiong this little peice from it. I am thinking this might be good wheel jewelry and might have to ask him to make more. Funny how the colors match so well.
This is my dear old KROMSKI! This fiber is a wool angora mix from Paradise fibers that I have been spinning off and on for oh about a year now. I've got a ton of ti so eventually, like in ther year 2010 it may become a shawl or something.
I'd like to say thanks to my friends, Barb, Sam, Jen, Sheila and Michael and Lisa Souza and her man for the Stitches West post card.. I soooo wish I could have gone!!! I got a first hand look and fondle of all of Barbs treasures she brought home and some very lovely things she brought for me too. Whoda thunk it?? Yarn from Shrimp shells?!? Anyhoo I am planning an attack on the Souza website after seeing some of those fabulous colorways in person, and I am armed and dangerous with a gift certificate too.!

Wow, you've got some beautiful fibers you're working on! Can't wait to see the soap stone in person too.
