Here's the latest on the bathroom makeover. Tne Bf got the pocket door fittted in and built a wall around it. I'm sorry I didn't actually get a picture of it but you'll have to take my word fo r it. The small sectiont that is actually wall and not door is insulated with wool from Sheep Shed studios.

The cats are now happily usuing thier own private bathroom in the closet.

With this being the 4th of July we both had a long weekend. I attempted to make some jam. For some reason it's taking it's sweet time in "jelling" up and ie more like strawberry syrup right now. I guess it can take up to 2 weeks for it to set. So I'll wait and see.

Here Miss Jasmine shows off all the spinning I've been doing lately.

We managed to have a pretty good 4th, mainly becuase the wind was in our favour and blew all the fireworks crap right back onto the people setting them off. As usual all we had to do was go out on the back deck and watch the show all around us. People are usually pretty good about not setting stuff off too late.
The chickens handled the noise well, Cats went into hiding and the parrots were a little jumpy.
