Well friends...interesting things afoot in my world these days. After a brief visit to the Evergreen emergency room I am on a little furlough from work.
Hannah birds dream come true!!!!

With these recent developements I am glad that I am pretty much done with planting in the garden. So now it's just a matter of maintenance and waiting for stuff to grow.

Here are my potato tubs. I had bought a special potato growing thingy that was basically a plastic tube with holes in it. Wanting to grow more I decided to cut the bottoms off a couple of old garbage cans, buried them about half way into the ground and planted some taters.
It's looks a little odd but seems to be working

These are the hanging baskets, I cut a hole in the one on the left, stuffed a tomato in it and planted the top with parsely, basil, oregano and some nasturtiums for color.

Some pretty flowers from my sis in laws Mom's greenhouses

Here you can see the very nice birdhouse the BF gave me. It has a camera in it that we can watch on out TV. However the birds have ignored it so far and opted for the $5 Rite Aid model

The Bf's Mom makes a very nice peanut butter cream pie. It has been dubbed "High Pie" by the niece.
Of course Miss Hannah wanted ot help supervise

Too many fingers, or claws in the pie will inevidably lead to lockdown

Why did you go to the emergency room? I missed out on all of the details. Please fill me in.
I'm keeping good thoughts!
