Well after an illness I returned to work only to find there was no work to return to. Somebody up there must be lookin' out for me becuase I was offered the very first job I applied and interviewed for. It's not too far away and seems like a good company.
Not been up to too much lately. The Bf rented a cider press and made a trip over the mountains to get several pounds of apples. Here are some pictures of us grinding and pressing the apples.
Right now the cider is fermenting in some buckets,he thinks it should be ready by Thanksgiving.
The garden is winding down. The chickens are being let out on a daily basis to clean up for me.
I still have several squash and pears, most of the tomatoes have been eaten and I did harvest some potatoes and have more that aren't quite ready yet.

Do the chickens eat the left over apple pulp?
Yeah, Summer is gone and Fall is fast on it's way.
I do hope that we will get to see you this coming year!
