Mission Accomplished!!

The Bf and I went to Leavenworth last weekend and had a great time. The weather was a nice fall day and we got an early start to beat the crowds. When we got there we did a little window shopping and then we had lunch of a big pretzel and suasages with winekraut. After wanering around town for awhile we moved onto to our favorite Apple Farm. I think it's called Preys. They have tons of apples and you can taste test them all. They also have lots of apple cider and honey and a friendly dog that wanted to go home with us.

So Bf got a big box of Honeycrisp and I got some Granny Smiths and another type I can't recall just now. I made some applesauce the other day and it was pretty tasty.

On the animal update the critters are doing well. Bijoux actually seems to be showning signs of being potty trainable! I am hoping to get her her own litter box so she can come out to play. She is a little piggy bunny and eats like a horse. She also seems to be getitng bigger daily. The cats adore her and they will chase each other around the room.

And now for the big news ( drum roll please) The Bf will be moving in with me at the end of this year! His apartment complex keeps hiking up his rent and he's paying way toom uch for a one bedroom right now. So we have a few months for us to get him moved gradually in. Thankfully he doesn't have much in the way of "stuff" being a bachelor and as far as animals there will only be two big fat goldfish comming. Let's see, that will bring the pet total up to 25!
So this will be a busy fall and winter. I have alot of work to do cleaning up the house and moving furniture around and getting rid of junk.

I'm thinking all my critters will be okay with the Bf moving in. They've all known him for baout 4 years now and it took Hannah the cockatoo abotu a year before she decided she liked him. I think he is hoping the cats will eventually stop ignoring him and be friendly. I think he's going to wake up one day covered in cats and rabbits!
That's all for now!

Personal change, growth, development, identity formation—these tasks that once were thought to belong to childhood and adolescence alone now are recognized as part of adult life as well. Gone is the belief that adulthood is, or ought to be, a time of internal peace and comfort, that growing pains belong only to the young; gone the belief that these are marker events—a job, a mate, a child—through which we will pass into a life of relative ease.
