Evidently she didn't get the hint.

Above is a simple hat made out of Noro silk something or other. It turned out pretty well. I've been working on some other projects that due to the approaching holidays cannot be photographed : )
Things are going along fine. The Bf is THE MAN ! I came home from work today to home made ham and bean soup and wireless internet! Our Router has been acting up and we were planning on getting a wireless one here pretty soon. So here I am in my laZboy blogging away. Now he's messing with hooking up the internet so we can surf the net on the WII tv in the living room. Not entirely sure why we would want to do that since we both have computers but hey, it's still pretty cool. I guess then our WII people can mingle with other peoples WII people.....I think.
The poor Bf has also been struggling with a pretty gnarly cold. This is Mr Nevergets-sick we're talking about here. So it looks like we will be taking it easy this weekend.
Seems that my knee is going to be more of pain...I'm all scheduled for surgery on my meniscus next month. From what I understand it's not a major operation and I should be back on my feet in a week or so. I didn't realize that I probably won't be able to do any spinning with a bum leg. So I'll have to line up some knitting projects for my recovery time in the laZboy.
No news from the racoon war, all though there's a raw chicken wing hanging in the cage tonight so we'll see what the morning brings. The poor chickens still seem a little traumatized. They still want to sleep out side so every night I pick them up one by one and carry them to the coop and lock them up tight. They don't realize this is for thier own safetly. One has even taken to giving out some pretty sharp pecks when I try to pick her up. Another caught me in the face with a wing last night and nearly gave me a fat lip. If you ever picked up a fat pissed off chicken then you know what I mean.

Poor Lily just wanted to take a nap without being hassled by Hannah the great intimidator, I guess she thought she was pretty well hidden, but alas, it takes more than than a good hiding place to fool a cat hating Cockatoo.
