Does this box make me look fat?
Yes this is my knee, not very impressive is it? This is day 5 after the operation and so far so good. the swelling has gone down and all I have are three little incisions. I find that I have more flexibility each day and I can put weight on it now. From what I understand I should be able to be back to normal within 3 weeks max. All in all I think it was worth it.
Now I should be able to go hiking without fear of locking up and falling over now and then.
We have had a winter visitor this week. I noticed a humming bird out back so I cleaned up the humming bird feeder and filled it up. So far there have been two little guys visiting the feeder. The feeder hangs just outside the sliding glass door and sometimes they make Bubba Eclectus nervous with thier fliting about out there and he feels the need to duck and hide in his cage when they hover around out there.
Of course Bf has pointed out that now they will depend on my feeder since food is scarce now and if I don't keep refilling the feeder thay will die.
Better get more feeder stuff then, oh the pressure!
No news on the racoon war. Haven't seen hide nor hair of one since the last skirmish. The chickens are as safe as I can make them in coop knox. The last time I made repairs I noticed the little bastards had tried to dig under the fence too. Thanksfully I had thought of that when I had the fence put in and I had put chicken wire all around the bottem so that they can't get through. What I hadn't planned for was the buggers climbing over the fence and making holes int he netting. Sigh, I will still keep putting the trap out. Maybe word has spread among the enemy that this is the place of vogorous poking. I hope so.

It's wonderful to see you recovering so well. Been there, done that, with the meniscectomy. Enjoy your R&R (that's recovery and rehabilitation).
I think your knee looks very sexy with it's piercings!! So glad to hear that you are getting better and better!
Behave yourself!....no hikes yet ;)
