No such thing as a free lunch?

Well here is a great example of good customer service. Seems like such a rare thing these days I just have to share.

Bf and I went out to lunch yesterday to Scotts Bar and Grill in Edmonds. The Bf's family has been going there for years and every now and then we like to stop by for lunch or the early bird specials.

Anyhoo we were shown to our table and we waited. I didn't really notice how long we waited but longer than normal. Bf remarked that maybe they were understaffed or something as the place was very busy. All in all I didn't think we had been waiting too long. Soon a waitress noticed us and came over, she apologized that we were kept waiting and gave us some coupons for "Buy one meal get one free" and took our orders. Okay, that's cool. Our food came right away and the waitress told us that she had checked on when we arrived and apologized again for the wait AND gave us our lunch on the house!

The food was great as usual and talk about service! We will certainly go there again soon.

And now for something completely different!
Here is the little owl pellet wraped in foil

here is the owl puke in all it's glory. I was suprised to find that it was mostly comiled of fur
So I used some tweezers and dental tools I had to pry lose all the condensed fur, looks like this owl liked to dine on mice or rodents
Here, above, I start finding some little bones. Some rib bones and some tiny claws and a few jaw bones
All in all I found two mouse skulls and four matching jaw bones plus one extra jawbone, and lots of little mice bones. It was pretty cool and a little icky to pull apart. I found you have to be pretty gentle to avoid actually breaking the bones. Mice have very tiny teeth.
In other news I have some knitting projects I have been working on. A hat and a pair of mittens. I'll get pictures up soon.
