Let is snow!!
We've had even more snow over the last few days. The grand total is now up to 13 inches. In all my years living here I can't remember there being this much snow.
Bf finally dug out the little truck and put chains on it and took me to work. It was pretty dicey since my office is up a big hill.
Bf spent a lot of time yesterday shovelling out trails for the chickens to run around on and when they came out this morning to find another inch or two on their paths they weren't amused.
Our little humming bird continues to visit the feeder. For a few days there he was sitting on the hanging plant right by the feeder. I don't know if he was just resting or hanging around to fend off any other hummers that wanted to visit the feeder. A few times another one would buzz by and he would chase them off. We've been taking the feeder in at night and I think I may try adding a little more sugar than usual.
I have been keeping my fingers crossed we don't loose our power. This morning I saw a large tree branch break off down the street, another on a neighbors tree and our own big fir has a couple of broken branches.
Looks like we may have a white Christmas after all this year! I hope everyone has a wonderful Merry Christmas and joyous new year!!

Ya'll are really getting hit with that snow. Poor chickens feet are probably about frozen. Glad the little hummer is still hanging on in all that snow. Merry Christmas to both of you. Helen
That's some snow you got there! I guess you had a white Christmas.
