Spring Cleaning

At least she thinks she is. Finally had a day off today. The job continues to go pretty well.The hours are pretty wacky but still work is work. With the weather being so nice lately I have been trying to get my butt in gear to get the garden together. Planted 5 tubs o' potatoes today. Dug a up a couple of interesting things when doing so

Above is a toy horse I apparently buried at some point during my childhood, a very old bone one of our dogs must have buried at some many years ago and a very rusty big pipe thingy that I seriously hope hasn't served a purpose for many years as well.  Now I really hope I had the forsight to bury some of my allowance when I was a kid : )

My Bro and Sis in law gave me a really cool Cast Iron enamel dutch oven and I have been having fun trying different things with it. I have done Coq Au Van and today we have Braised Beef short ribs. Ribs and homemade beef stock courtesy Pavorotti Cow
