This is some very nice "Artful Ewe" Batts I got at the Whidby spin in shopping spree(see earlier posts) I tried to spin it thicker and it turned out better than I expected.
Nothing much else exciting to report. Things at work are well lets say interesting.. The BF continues his daily battle with the dandilions out front and I even caught him looking at Pond pumps in the pet store! We have that very nice pond liner that Barb gave us and we have a pretty good idea where we'd like it to go. I think the BF would really enjoy having some Koi in our own backyard.
I picked up the usual supples plus some meal worms for the chickens, I'm working a new theroy with the girls. Heard of Kobe beef, how about Kobe chickens? Can't imagine fatty chicken would taste good but spoiled rotten happy Kobe chickens make great eggs?

Anyhoo at the pet store they had Purrfect Pals cat adoption agency. That's where I adopted Lily awhile ago. They had the most beautiful cat I've ever seen. Her name was Possum and at first I thought she was some exotic breed I hadn't seen before then I learned that her unusual looks came from the fact that she had been abandond and subjected to such cold th at she got frostbite and had to have some minor surgery as a result.

She was a pretty grey persian with blue eyes and a somewhat squished up face, if you know me you know I like squished up faces) and the tips of her ears were missing so it looked almost like she didn't have any at all. Then there was her tail, lovely and fluffy about halfway up and then it was naked and pink with a little scabby blunt end, She was perfect! The Bf, seeing how enamoured I was of this lovely creature asked me " What is this obsession you have with retarded deformed cats?" Refering the the late Great Stumpy the toothless/tail-less wondercat. He then went on to discribe in detail what the litterbox would look like with a third cat in the house. Stating that my cats do not deficate as normal cats do but the make "giant Poop Logs"

Needless to say I do not have a 3rd cat, all though I still think that Possum was a really lovely kitty. My animal count is at a managable level now...I wonder if they still have Jersey Giants at the feed store...

Oh Lordy! Just had a thought....I could knit her little coverd for her pink naked half of her tail, in Matching gray mohair, or Alpaca and then needly felt it with some gray Shetland..and it would be a tail toupe!!!
