Here are the rules:
1. Grab the nearest book
2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the next 3 sentences on your blog, along with these instructions.
5. Don't you dare dig for that "cool" or "intellectual" book in your closet!
OK here goes!
Melissa had never before shown any interest in his job. She leaned forward and kissed his cheek. "Surely you can reserve a seat for me," she replied
I stole this from Sheile E's blog.
I must also send her a great big thank you for the simply beautiful ornament she sent!! Thank you thank you thank you!!!
I'll get pictures of it up as soon as I can.
I also have pictures of ( of all things) the inside of my knee. My Dr gave me the photographs they took when they did my operation. Of course with these incredibly exciting pictures I now discover that my brand spaking new laptop with the cursed Windows Vista : ( is not compatable with my trusty old printer scanner. So as soon as I finagle the bf into letting me use his scanner for my "gross" pictures I will get them up here.
As for knitting I am almost done with a scarf I am making to match a hat. Of course with only 4 rows left I ran out of yarn, luckily I can get more on Ebay. Yarn Crack, what can I say.
It's funny, when Im working on a knitting project sometimes I get all gung ho and I want to focus only on that one particular project and finish it. Then I finish it and feel weird. either I look at it and think. "Eh that's not bad, wonder when\if I will wear\use that." Or "Now that I like"
Now what 's next?
Now I may have mentioned before my fear of knitting socks. I am working my way up ( or down ) to socks, starting with hats. Now I am starting on mittens. I have the pattern and I've knitted one cuff. Wether or no I ever get past a cuff or not remains to be seen. There are a few sock cuffs lurking in the darker corners of my house, I hope the mitten cuff doesnt decide to join them
