Nothing much new to report. We had a little earthquake the other day. I think the news said it was a 4.6 of something. Bf said he felt it and I just heard a loud rumble. Poor Bill parrot and Patches Cockatiel freaked out.
Bill bonked his beak a few times trying to get away. Hannah and Bubs weren't bothered at all .
The outdoor girls are doing well. I think I have at least 3 of them laying now and with spring approaching I am sure the others will be starting up here pretty soon. It's been ages since I have had any unwanted visitors in the coops
I've had to start thinking about what to put int he garden this year. Bf wants to try growing some mustard for seed. That should be interesting.
Since I just haven't had much luck with tomatoes and cukes these last few years I think I'll try a few other things. I plan on doing more potatoes this year since they seem to do well for me. Maybe some brussles sprouts or broccoli this time.
Here is a photo of Bubba enjoying the Chia Pet from Bf's Mom for Christmas. He was impatient and didn't want to wait for the grass to grow very much.
Here are Hannah and Bill enjoying the giant jar of cashews the bf got for christmas. Bill isn't too crazy about sharing
