Happy Valentines Day!

And I got something I have always wanted, yep a ceiling fan\light. The Bf picked out a really classy looking one and installed it today. It sure is a heck of a lot nicer than what was already there. It was so old and crappy I don't even know how to describe it.

Now when the weather warms up we have a nice cool quiet breeze!

I also got homemade muffins for breakfast and See's candy ( what a combo!)

This year I got the Bf the gift of protein, a gift certificate to the Buffalo guys website. The man likes his Bison.

With all the snow and work and life in general getting in the way we weren't able to get together with my bro and sis in law over the holidays so we finally went out to a Christmas,birthday Valentines Day dinner at Red Lobster last night. I hear that My sis in laws Mom had a scare on vacation. Her folks and sister went on a 2 week cruise through the Panama canal and her mother came down with a fever. It turned out to be ok but I guess the ships Dr quarantined her to her cabin and they called in a Hazmat team to wash all their stuff!! She's doing fine now and from what I hear managed to en joy the rest of the cruise.

In other news Bf's work layed off two people and there is talk at my job of asking people to volunteer to cut hours. Looks like there will be a recession after all I guess! Better get started on my garden.
