An actual white Christmas!

We had a little snow for christmas this year. After a quiet Christmas eve my brother and his family came over to my house for coffee and presents on christmas day.

The Bf gave me a very cool bird house that has a camera in it and uses solar powered. You can hook it up via reciever to the TV nor computer. Hopefully in the spring I can have videos of live baby birds on here! He got a gift card to Rei and this sheep skull

This is a Navaho Churro sheep skull I picked up at OFFF

I also got this t shirt from my bro

This really nice backpack

Barb made me these really pretty hand knit socks

Bf got this spiffy knife too

I got this pretty chicken cookie jar from BF's folks

We also got this nice gift basket

And Bf got this t-shirt
I also got a room frangrance difuser and (YES) some Noro sock yarn, already on some needles by the way.

We had a terrific Christmas and I am blessed to have been able to spend it with my family and Bf's family. We had a great time at Bf's folks house. His little niece had a better understanding of Chrstmas ( ie presents) She had lots of new toys and she did a very good Santa handing out presents. She had us all laughing when she was playing with Grandma's new turky baster and she mis-pronounced it "Grandma's bastard"

The Bf got a couple of new shirts, some tickets to Emerald downs and I also got a couple of gift cards.

Now I think BF's Mom gave us the most unusually cool present. She gave us each an owl pellett! I guess owls can't diguest the bones of the little critters they eat so they upchuck them in a little package of owl puke. You can take it apart and hopefully find some bones. It comes with a little chart to help you identify what your owl may have eaten.

I can't wait to disect them so I will be sure to blog the big operation!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas with thier family and friends!

Wow Tina, sounds like you got all the loot! You have some Noro sock yarn? Waaaa, I want me some!

The owl pellets sound cool - definitely something my kids would get a kick out of! I can't wait to see the blog details.

What a lovely white Christmas!
